With a population of about 3500, Water Valley is an unspoiled small town located in the Tri-Lakes Hill country, 20 minutes south of Oxford and 40 minutes north of Grenada.

Because of the historic homes and low real estate prices, Water Valley attracts a diverse community-- from Ole Miss professors to penny-pinching artists to those who've lived in the Valley since railroading days.


The mission of the Water Valley Main Street Association is to promote Water Valley's Main Street District as the focus of a community where history is preserved; businesses thrive; and citizens and visitors dine, shop, live, and enjoy the arts and entertainment.
